  • Hurricane Michael Relief Offering

    Hurricane Michael Relief Offering

As a church wide mission project a love offering will be taken at the close of church services on Sunday, October 29 and Sunday, November 4 to aid Hiland Park Baptist Church of Panama City, Florida .

Hurricane Michael impacted Florida with devastating damages.  Hiland Park Church suffered much destruction to their facilities and church members also experienced major damages to their homes.

This mission project was chosen because Dr. Wayne Grothman former Minister of Music at Meadville Baptist is now serving Hiland Park as Worship Minister.

You  are asked to be a part of this mission relief project.  If you prefer to donate by check please earmark your check:  Hiland Park Hurricane Fund.

  • Candy Needed!

Please drop off bags of candy in the Choir Room. Trunk or Treat will be in downtown Meadville on October 27. We need lots of candy for lots of kids!

  • Be Free Women's Event

A group of ladies from MBC and Franklin County, as well as surrounding counties, met for a day of worship and fellowship September 29 in Brookhaven. The Be Free event was sponsored by SWAT Ministries (Spiritual Warriors Against Trafficking). The men and women of SWAT Ministries risk their lives around the world to rescue women and children from a life of slavery and show them a freedom found only in Jesus Christ! Please pray for those involved in this ministry as they do God's work. And pray for those who are being rescued that their hearts will be open to the gospel.

Our guest speakers were Virginia Alexander and Barbie Bassett; Andi Cotten led us in a time of worship through music. It was a wonderul time of worshipping our Lord with a great group of ladies.

Thank you, Warren, for driving us!
